Who are we?

UNICEF at Cal is an ASUC/Cal Corps sponsored student group at UC Berkeley. Founded in 2001, we are proud to be one of the first college campus UNICEF clubs!

As one of the leading UNICEF campus organizations, we aspire to raise funds and increase awareness among the students of UC Berkeley, as well as the surrounding East Bay community. Each year, we organize several outreach events that involve our entire community; we hope that our passion for helping children in developing countries will inspire and encourage the UC Berkeley community to join us.

Club meetings are on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm in 159 Mulford. Hope to you see you there!

• Trick or Treat for UNICEF during October (2007 cause: Earthquake victims in Peru)

• 5k Run/Walk in April (2008 cause: The Democratic Republic of Congo)

• Outreach assemblies at elementary schools, after school program volunteering, and documentary screenings
